IAG Cargo today announces that from July 2013 customers moving smaller shipments will benefit from guaranteed capacity on its Prioritize service, designed for express cargo shipments. Capacity Guarantee is an addition to the existing Performance Guarantee, making IAG Cargo one of the only major global carriers to offer customers peace of mind through a dual assurance. Capacity Guarantee will be available for freight bookings under 300kgs with bookings under this weight automatically accepted for travel.  The guarantee is available to customers booking a Prioritize service through www.iagcargo.com or via telephone. Prioritize, IAG Cargo’s premium express product, is built with speed and reliability at its core, with shipments on this service receiving the fastest publicised cut off and delivery times of any air cargo carrier. IAG Cargo’s dedicated facilities at London Heathrow and Madrid ensure that Prioritise freight is given preferential status at all times. Prior to the launch, widespread guaranteed access to a capacity and performance based solution was not previously available to North American customers. The introduction of the Capacity Guarantee will prove useful in supporting IAG Cargo’s existing Prioritize customers in the region, who are active across a range of sectors including the movement of spare aircraft and manufacturing parts, medical devices, computer components and the rapidly growing industry of just-in-time electronics. The most popular destinations for Prioritize shipments from South America include Spain, Italy, the UK and Israel, with IAG Cargo customers benefitting from the fastest shipment times to London Heathrow and Madrid. David Shepherd, Head of Commercial at IAG Cargo, commented: “Prioritize has been created for customers who need their goods to get to their destinations quickly and at short notice.  Capacity Guarantee provides our customers with absolute peace of mind by offering a commitment that smaller shipments travelling under the Prioritise product will automatically be accepted when a booking is made.”
