'We have seen a growing demand for project cargoes in the region, and the opening of our own office in Buenos Aires is needed to insure the quality of service and customer responsiveness that we deliver at Intermarine,' says Eric Alber, Vice President of the service.
The new office will be headed by Mr. Patrick Fallon who moved to Buenos Aires in early August. Mr. Fallon brings to the posting a decade of experience with Intermarine in operations and commercial management. For three years he was stationed in Guanta, Venezuela as Area Manager overseeing the cargo operations of Intermarine vessels at Guanta, as well as the coastwise service to the petrochemical complex of Jose. Subsequently, he was transferred to Houston where he became the Line Manager for Intermarine's service to the West Coast of South America. Most recently, Mr. Fallon was Commercial Manager for Intermarnine's US Flag services. In Buenos Aires he will provide direction and support to the agency network in both the East and West coasts of South America.
