In June of this year, USA-based Intermarine contracted with a German owner to deliver a ship engine that originated in Asia to the owner's vessel in the Dominican Republic.' The MV INDUSTRIAL DART, one of Intermarine's heavy lift vessels equipped with dual 250 MT cranes, combinable for 500 MT lifts, carried the 93 MT engine from Houston to the port of Boca Chica, in the Dominican Republic.' There, the Industrial Dart double banked alongside the stranded vessel and placed the engine directly into the foundation of the vessel's engine room.
