ITP will begin implementation in the third quarter of 2010, with plans to go live by 2011. The SPARCS N4 solution integrates gate-to–yard-to-vessel operations to increase responsiveness throughout the terminal and will allow Itapoá Terminais Portuários to provide better customer service by:
- Lowering administrative, support and operating costs
- Improving yard utilization and stacking yard capacity
- Optimizing vessel planning
- Increasing flexibility and business intelligence
