CHATTANOOGA, Tenn.- Supply chain experts from Kenco Logistics will be sharing their insights on supply chain innovation and cutting-edge technology at several upcoming industry conferences. At the JDA Focus event, April 25–28 in Las Vegas, Kenco Innovation Labs Research Manager Matt McLelland will host a breakout session titled Innovation in 3PL: Buzzword or Reality? Participants will learn how to better understand innovation, create a culture of innovation within their own organization, and get tips on turning great ideas into real solutions. McLelland will also take part in a panel discussing real-world examples of what shippers and third party logistics (3PLs) companies are doing to push industry innovation. Kristi Montgomery, Kenco vice president of Innovation, Research and Development, will also be at JDA Focus on a panel addressing how to develop women leaders in the industry. Panelists will share what has and has not worked within their own companies and careers. At the Warehousing Education and Research Council (WERC) Conference, April 30–May 3 in Fort Worth, Ann Christopher, Kenco vice president and general counsel, will facilitate a peer-to-peer session on regulatory challenges related to labor, transportation, OSHA, and other anticipated federal changes in the next four years. Montgomery will also be at WERC hosting a breakout session on how to deliver on innovation in the cost-constrained world of logistics. Trever Ehrlich, creative solutions manager at Kenco Innovation Labs will be a presenter at the Enterprise Wearable Technology Summit, May 10–12 in San Diego. Ehrlich will talk about leveraging virtual reality for business and industry applications. The annual Georgia Logistics Summit, May 16–17 in Atlanta, will feature Montgomery as an industry expert with the 3PL perspective on the roundtable session discussing Technology for Distribution Centers.
