With the federal Highway Trust Fund set to hit a zero balance in late-August and warnings from the U.S. Department of Transportation that it will be forced to slow reimbursements to the states starting next month, some of the nation’s key policymakers on this issue will address over 400 transportation construction industry executives, in town as part of the annual Transportation Construction Coalition Fly-In.
