Twelve countries, including the U.S. and Canada, are in the final stages of negotiating the Trans-Pacific Partnership which, if ratified, would be the largest free-trade agreement in history. In anticipation of this event and others expected to have a tremendous impact on international trade, Livingston International has restructured its Global Trade Management division to ensure clients have access to the services, technology and training that will help them compete in the global market and take advantage of new opportunities. After a year of unprecedented growth in 2014, Livingston’s Global Trade Management (GTM) is restructuring to reach new targets, expanding areas like product development, sales support, automation and technology differentiation to meet the future head on.  Livingston’s Global Trade Management division is also launching new products in 2015 to address evolving global client needs and interests and expand its capabilities. Livingston plans to announce the products later this year. “This restructuring is about growth and expansion. We will be better able to help our clients increase their competiveness, and keep them on the cutting edge of changing trade regulations and free-trade deals that will save them money and time,” said Matt Goodman, president of Livingston’s GTM operation. “GTM always seeks new ways to help our clients expand their global footprint through compliance services and making it easier for them to take advantage of new global trade opportunities.” Livingston’s GTM operation helps companies who want to import and export goods make the right sourcing decisions, be proactive to changes in the global trade environment, link trade compliance with business needs, use free trade agreements to their advantage, minimize duty and delays and stay ahead of the competition. The division’s vast global footprint enables it to offer solutions that are tailored to clients’ individual import and export trade operational needs.
