Lars Ljoen will join the Ceres Terminals Incorporated Management Team at the Company’s East Brunswick, N.J. corporate headquarters. In addition to relocating from Florida, Ljoen has the new title of Vice President, Cruise Services/RORO Services. He will focus on the development of current and new business strategies for Cruise Services and the Roll-on/Roll-off (RORO) business for both Ceres and Yusen Terminals Incorporated. The twenty-one year, maritime veteran began his career on supply vessels and shuttle tankers in the North Sea Offshore industry. Ljoen worked for Royal Caribbean International for eight years on the cruise vessels and shoreside.  He served the last four years at Royal Caribbean as Director for Nautical and Port Operations. In this position, Ljoen’s overall responsibilities were worldwide port operations and administration, fleet-wide navigation issues, maritime training and deck operation.  Since joining Ceres Terminals Incorporated in 2005, Ljoen has worked with Ceres Marine Terminals in South Florida as Vice President Business Development and been responsible for defining the Company’s business strategy and managing Ceres’ entry into new market segments. His accomplishments in the cruise sector have contributed to Ceres Terminals Incorporated’s ranking as a leading Cruise Terminal Operator and Stevedore Service Provider. “Since joining the Company, Lars has energized Ceres with new business perspectives and goals.
