Logwin, a global leader in air and ocean freight and logistics services, has opened a new sales office in Fuzhou, Fujian Province, to strengthen its market presence across South China.

The city is at the centre of growing cross straits trade with Taiwan and is home to many leading brand name companies who are investing in the manufacturing sector. As a result, Logwin is expanding its presence and service offering providing a comprehensive range of logistics services, with a focus on electronics, automotive, textiles and light goods.

Fuzhou is the capital of Fujian Province with population of 7.1 million people and a Gross Domestic Product (GDP) of USD58.6 billion in 2011. Industrial output comprises 46.5% of the city's GDP total.

The new office is part of a longer term plan by Logwin to expand its sales capability and office network across a region that includes Hong Kong, Macau, Fujian, Guangdong, Guangxi, Guizhou, Jiangxi, Hunan, Hainan and Yunnan provinces.
