Lufthansa Cargo was once again right out in front when it came to the "Cargo Airline of the Year Awards": the Frankfurt-based air freight company came top in the "Best European Cargo Airline" category. The prestigious prize has been awarded by the British Air Cargo Media Group for more than 30 years and awarded to Lufthansa Cargo on several occasions. It confirms that the global customers from the logistics industry who responded to the survey value the largest freight airline in Germany. The evaluation criteria include quality, innovation, efficiency, speed, reliability and company vision. Thomas Egenolf, Director Italy, Malta, UK & Ireland at Lufthansa Cargo, was proud to accept the award at the ceremony held in London on 25 April. "We are delighted with this award, especially against the backdrop of the strong global competition. Being nominated for the title of 'Cargo Airline of the Year' is also a real honour", said Egenolf. "Of course, we won't rest on our laurels after the award, instead we will take it as an opportunity to improve still further in the fields of customer service, products, network and quality and keep on convincing our customers."
