Bergstrom will serve as a central point of safety information and coordination between Lynden International’s national and international Service Centers. “Gregg’s background and experience are a huge asset to Lynden International and its employees,” says Paul Polkinghorn, Lynden International’s Vice President of Business Performance. “He will work closely with Lynden Safety Director Jim Maltby as well as promoting the Lean manufacturing methods throughout the company which focus on increasing productivity and streamlining processes.” Before joining Lynden, Bergstrom was Assistant Director of Facilities for Harrison Medical Center in Bremerton, WA. He also serves as a U.S. Army Reserve Logistics Officer. He recently returned from Kandahar, Afghanistan, and currently commands a watercraft company consisting of three tugboats, a 250-ton floating crane and 84 soldiers.
