MacAndrews has added the 700 teu Werder Bremen to its weekly container shipping service between Portugal, Ireland, the United Kingdom and Holland.

Serving alongside City of Oporto, Werder Bremen replaces City of

Lisbon in the service which offers fixed day calls at Lisbon

(Fridays), Leixoes (Saturdays), Dublin (Tuesdays), Liverpool

(Wednesdays), Greenock (Fridays) and Rotterdam (Mondays).

With 144 reefer plugs, Werder Bremen will support MacAndrews' increasing commitment to carrying fresh produce between Iberia and Northern Europe.

Werder Bremen is flagged in Germany and was built in 1999. The ship is 6,378 tons has a nominal capacity of 700 teu, including 144 reefer plugs. She is 121 meters in long and 18 meters wide.
