Maruba Lines announced the commencement of its new Pacar service on January 7th that offers a weekly service from Manzanillo (Mexico) to Puerto Quetzal, Caldera, Cartagena, Rio Haina, Puerto Cabello and La Guaira. The string then returns from La Guaira to Cartagena, Caldera, Puerto Quetzal and Manzanillo.

This new service opens up connections to the Caribbean discharge ports via Manzanillo from Asia (ACSA) and West Coast of Canada & USA (NACSA) teu capacity. Dry and refrigerated 20 & 40/40HC containers are offered.

The PACAR service is now the third route that Maruba has opened to the Caribbean basin in the last two years. "This includes the MAYA from South Florida to the northern zone of Central America and the BRASEX which serves the east coast of South America to the North Coast of South America and Kingston.'
