Des Plaines, IL - M&K Truck Centers welcomed over three hundred guests to their official grand opening for the newest dealership in Des Plaines, IL last week. The public was invited to tour the facility at 901 West Oakton St., have lunch, and meet the staff for the Chicago area. The half-day event started with a ribbon cutting ceremony with the Des Plaines Chamber of Commerce members to help welcome M&K to the area.  M&K Truck Centers have positioned themselves to be the most conveniently located dealerships in the Chicagoland area. They are committed to providing the best possible service to their customers and this new location has expanded the opportunity to deliver that. The grand opening event provided visitors a chance to learn more about M&K, the brands they represent and to see for themselves the latest technologies and advancements M&K offers. Employees and executives from Mack Trucks and Volvo Trucks North America were on site to answer questions, give facility tours, and talk about their trucks, parts, and services. Newly acquired M&K Trailer Centers was onsite to represent Wabash trailers for guests at the event. M&K’s Des Plaines dual-branded dealership is a complete renovation of an existing manufacturing facility that provides 76,000 square feet of available space on site. On the tour of the facility, guests could walk through 30 bays used for servicing trucks, 7,000 square feet of office space, and 16,000 square feet of parts inventory.
