MOL Logistics (Japan) Co., Ltd. has announced that its subsidiary in Vietnam,MOL Logistics (Vietnam) Inc. (MLG Vietnam; GeneralDirector: Yoshitomi Hirano), hasopened a new office in Quang Ninh Province, northeastern Vietnam.  Quang Ninh Province facesHa Long Bay, andis locatedabout three and a half hours by car from Hanoi and aboutone and a half hours from Haiphong, the largest port in the northern part ofVietnam. As Vietnam’s economic expansion spreads tolocal areas, the Quang Ninhprovinceisdrawing attention as an up-and-coming production center for automobiles and related products, and many companies are establishing new plants and branch operations there.  MLG Vietnam’s system will provide faster, smoother, more effectively managed logistics servicesincluding customs operations in its territorial customs offices, on-site shipment operations at plants,withdrayage and other domestic shipping arrangements, in areas to the northeast of Haiphong. MLG Vietnam was established in November 2005. With the opening of the Quang Ninh office, it has atotal of seven offices: Ho Chi Minh headquarters, the Hanoi Branch, and offices in Hai Duong, Thai Binh, and BenTre. Includingthe MLG Vietnam-operated Song Than Warehouse (in a suburb of Ho Chi Minh City in Binh DuongProvince), the company has a network of eight locationsin Vietnam.
