Old Dominion Freight Line, Inc. has added drayage facilities in Dallas, Texas and Nashville, Tennessee to its nationwide network. Both facilities are strategically positioned near several major railheads and will help Old Dominion accommodate the growing demands from OD’s loyal customers who ship domestically and globally. “We are delighted to open OD’s first drayage facility in the state of Texas as well an additional facility within Tennessee this year,” said Jerry Aaron, Old Dominion’s director of container operations. “These new locations will better connect OD to global customers with intermodal shipping needs.” Through OD Global, the company can transport full container load shipments directly to or from any point in the U.S. The company’s National Container Drayage Division offers direct container drayage service from more than 22 ports and railheads throughout the country. The company’s drayage services include inland container pools and a full range of container related services, including loading, unloading and short term warehousing. Old Dominion operates 22 drayage facilities across the United States, including Atlanta; Baltimore; Birmingham, Ala.; Charleston, S.C.; Charlotte, N.C.; Chicago; Front Royal, Va.; Greensboro, N.C.; Greer, S.C.; Huntsville, Ala.; Jacksonville, Fla.; Los Angeles/Long Beach; Memphis; Mobile, Ala.; Norfolk, Va.; Oakland, Calif.; Portland, Ore.; Savannah, Ga.; Seattle; and Wilmington, N.C.
