DENTON, Texas  - While making Operation Airdrop relief flights, pilot Brett Hobson of Comfort Experts Heating and Cooling in Ft. Worth noticed that supplies were only part of what the Texas coast needed to recover.  He reached out to his friends Fred Bilbo of Quality Cooling in Abilene and Troy Dassonville of A/C Contractors in Longview.  The three companies will be teaming up to send air conditioning parts, equipment and certified repair technicians from across Texas to areas stricken by Harvey. Hobson said in a statement: “I’m really encouraged to be working with Fred and Troy and their fine crews to help our fellow Texans.  Our three companies are sending a fleet of trucks, manpower and parts to the hardest-hit areas they can access. We’ll get to as many people as possible in the few days we can give.” “We have to take care of the most vulnerable first, so we’ll concentrate on homes with elderly or infants in them.  To do that, we’re asking local volunteer organizations and media outlets to help us get the word out, and also to help us determine what areas need our help first.” “If you have an urgent need because of an infant, young child or senior citizen, please contact us by filling out the form located at comfortexpertsinc.com/harvey.”  “Operation Airdrop is still in full swing, flying supplies to hard to reach or forgotten areas.  If people need help, they can contact us and we’ll do what we can to get them what they need,” Hobson said. Temperatures in the Houston and surrounding areas expected to reach the low 90s over the next week, making air conditioning repairs a critical service to the elderly, the very young and those in ill health. Operation Airdrop was formed August 29th to deliver relief supplies to hard to reach areas along the Texas Gulf Coast.   The group can be followed on Facebook or operation-airdrop.com.
