Sea Star Line, LLC has announced that Eduardo L. Pagan has joined the company as VP and General Manager of Puerto Rico operations, and will report directly to company President, Steve Hastings.

Prior to joining Sea Star Line, Pagan led his own consultancy firm assisting organizations with business development strategy and planning. He recently played a pivotal role with the Puerto Rico Water Authority Revenue Optimization Program and Private/Public Strategy. By joining Sea Star Line, Pagan will fill the role recently vacated by Ned LaGoy, who has relocated to the company's Jacksonville headquarters as Vice President, Commercial Services.

Pagan also worked at Unilever for 21 years in a variety of key roles that included manufacturing, distribution, and international sales. Pagan was deeply involved with Total Quality Management (TQM), Total Productivity Management (TPM), and Lean Manufacturing. In addition to his work in the development and improvement of overall business practices, Eduardo used these tools and skills to improve performance in areas such as operational productivity, safety, and environmental impact. He also leads the Competitiveness Team and Strategy for the Puerto Rico Manufacturing Association.
