Penske Truck Leasing announced that it opened the first of its newly designed, state-of-the-art facilities at 1111 N. Century Ave., Kansas City, MO. The facility, which incorporates new design elements and advanced technology features to enhance and standardize the customer experience, will offer commercial and consumer truck rental services, full-service leasing and contract maintenance.

The new 24,118-square-foot facility, the result of a $6.5 million investment and the consolidation of two facilities into one, includes five service bays, one fully automated truck washing bay and a three-lane fuel island for diesel and gasoline refueling. Outfitted with state-of-the-art wireless technology, the facility will have the capability to integrate various vehicle diagnostic and repair software to provide first class maintenance services. Built on 11.5 acres of land, the new facility will employ approximately 50 associates in the Kansas City area and will have the capacity to maintain more than 1,000 vehicles onsite.

The new Kansas City facility will be open for service 24 hours a day, seven days a week, with rental operations open seven days a week at the following times: Monday ' Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.; Saturday, 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 a.m.; and Sunday, 9:00 a.m. to noon.

The facility will provide services to customers in Leavenworth, Wyandotte and northern Johnson counties in Kansas, as well as Jackson, Clay, Northern Cass, Western Lafayette and northwestern Johnson counties in Missouri.
