Plantgistix announces new president

Announcement follows substantial industry growth, facilities expansion

HOUSTON, TX - Plantgistix, the premier provider of in-plant, off-plant, and value-added logistics specialty services to the plastic resin industry, has announced the promotion of Sam Diaz to the position of president. Sam will join Marc Levine, founder and CEO of Plantgistix to help lead the company’s growth in off-plant, in-plant and specialty services. The company, recently announced expansion plans that include a 330,000 square-foot resin packaging plant scheduled to open in June 2017 to meet increased customer demand.
Diaz joined Plantgistix in 2011 and has been instrumental in the growth the company has experienced over the last several years. Diaz most recently served as COO and an active member of the leadership team focused in the areas of operations, customer service, continuous improvement & engineering, purchasing, finance, IT, HR and maintenance

Diaz will assume the role of president effective immediately.
