P&O Ports Florida, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of P&O Ports North America, Inc., has entered into a contract with Green Reefers ASA whereby P&O Ports will provide stevedoring and terminal operation services for Green Reefers' operations at the Port of Tampa.

Green Reefers ASA will utilize 14,000 square meters of cold and dry storage at the Harborside facility. Green WSI Terminal will handle the commercial operation. In December 2006 Green Reefers previously announced the development of a 10,000 square meter facility in Guatemala.

Green Reefers is adding the Port of Tampa to their existing door-to-door transportation systems between the US and Central America and plans to establish a weekly liner service between Guatemala and Florida in 2007.

"We're happy we can provide the stevedoring and terminal operation services Green Reefers needs at this facility," said P&O Ports President and CEO, Stephen Edwards. "This is a great opportunity for P&O Ports as we continue to expand our operations in cooperation with the Port of Tampa."
