Houston, Texas - Polar Corporation has appointed Mike Besson as President of Polar Service Centers. In his new role, Besson will continue a focus on improving the organization’s operational and financial performance by enhancing employee safety, technician efficiencies, parts inventory optimization and service profit margins. Besson will focus on accelerating and stabilizing this process of improvement as the company continues to grow market share. Besson attended the University of Texas and was previously employed by Rush Enterprises, where he worked for more than 21 years, most recently as Managing Vice President of Service and Body Shop Operations. In that role, he was responsible for overseeing the Parts, Service and Body Operations for both Navistar and Peterbilt divisions. “Mike’s wealth of experience will be integral to the continued growth of Polar Service Centers around the country,” stated Doug Chapple, CEO of Polar Corporation and EnTrans International, LLC. “We’re happy to welcome him on board as we grow and enhance our operations.”
