Porsche championship team chose Senator Lines (Bremen) to ship 400 hp Porsche 997 GT3s

To give themselves the best preparation for this year's very early start to the Supercup season on March 12, 2006 in Bahrain, the Lechner championship team decided to do their training 'overseas.'

'Most of the European racing circuits are unsuitable in winter, because of climatic conditions,' explained a spokesman for Lechner Motorsport GmbH of Austria. 'So we decided to run our test drives in the Persian Gulf, commissioning Senator Lines and CTL as expert partners to transport this fast, valuable freight.'

Team owner Walter Lechner expects the training on the Bahrain International Circuit in January and February to provide an opportunity to repeat the previous year's victory in the same place. The Porsche Michelin Supercup is run in association with the Formula 1 Grand Prixs. Each of the races will be transmitted live on Premiere when the season begins in March, two hours before the Formula 1 races.
