WARSAW - Poland’s biggest gas distributor PGNiG signed an agreement with Qatargas on gas supplies needed for the cooling and ramp-up of the liquefied natural gas (LNG) terminal on the Baltic Sea, Polskie LNG said on Tuesday. The state-run company which is responsible for the project did not provide details on the amounts of LNG agreed in the contract. Last week, Polskie LNG said that the terminal will be ready for commercial use in the second quarter of 2016, later than planned. Poland already has a long-term contract with Qatargas to deliver gas to the country’s first LNG terminal.
