Redwood forms strategic sales team with focus on supply chain efficiencies for enterprise market

Leading Logistics Provider Continues Commitment to Custom Solutions with Strategic Hires

CHICAGO - Redwood Logistics (Redwood), a top-100 3PL provider and one of the fastest growing logistics companies in North America, announced today its two latest additions to invest in the growth of the company’s recently formed strategic sales team. James “Jimmy” Trent has been hired as vice president, strategic sales and Bill Olson has been promoted to senior director, business development strategic sales.

The team additions join Erin Breen, Redwood’s senior vice president of strategic sales and Brent Cavanaugh, director, business development. This group of seasoned executives strengthens Redwood’s commitment to enterprise-level clients and provides customized solutions to create efficiencies for the most demanding supply chain needs.

Trent and Olson are responsible for solving unique logistics and transportation challenges by providing a range of strategically integrated logistics services. They also manage client retention programs and multiple sales channels, with a focus on customer satisfaction.

Prior to his new appointment with Redwood, Trent was Greatwide Logistics Services’ general manager for more than 15 years, responsible for all of the company’s operations and sales, including freight brokerage agreements, transportation management solutions (TMS) and payment and audit services.

Prior to his promotion, Olson was Redwood’s national account manager, responsible for overall sales growth and customer satisfaction.
