Breen leads Redwood’s newly created strategic sales team CHICAGO - Redwood Logistics (Redwood), a top-100 3PL provider and one of the fastest growing logistics companies in North America, announced today that Erin Breen has recently been appointed Redwood’s senior vice president of strategic sales, where he leads the company’s new corporate strategic sales team. The team’s objective is to deliver results for Redwood’s enterprise-level clients, generally made up of high-level buyers focused on creating efficiencies within their supply chains. They’ll provide customized logistics and transportation solutions and services to clients with the most complex needs and requirements. Breen brings more than 10 years of experience in logistics and transportation, including senior roles in national sales and logistics partnerships. He previously was the senior director of business development for Redwood’s supply chain solutions service. In his new role as senior vice president of Redwood’s strategic sales team, he’ll be accountable for growing the company’s transportation management and knowledge services (comprised of TMS, systems integration, engineering and consulting). Since he joined Redwood in 2013, Breen has been influential in shaping the company’s approach in the marketplace across all service lines, including multimode transportation brokerage, asset-based truckload and dedicated fleet management and warehousing and distribution services. “Our ability to create innovative, customized solutions for clients who have highly specialized needs is an essential part of Redwood’s success,” said Steve Walton, chief growth officer, Redwood Logistics. “Erin’s stellar leadership and performance in our supply chain services group, along with his background knowledge of Redwood’s internal operations and clients, made him a natural choice to lead the strategic sales team.”  Breen will formulate new sales workflows for the strategic sales team and collaborate with Redwood’s internal business divisions to ensure the delivery of enterprise client solutions.
