Further strengthening team to support ongoing business development objectives
Randolph, Massachusetts - RoadOne IntermodaLogistics, a leading single source intermodal, distribution, and logistics services company, announces today that Jim Ragland has joined RoadOne as Area Director, Central Region and Mike Clemons moves into the role of Vice President of Sales.
Jim is an accomplished logistics, business development and sales executive with over 25 years of experience in the transportation and logistics industries. He has a strong operations and business development background that will support RoadOne’s goals to drive business efficiencies and develop programs to enhance customer satisfaction. Prior to RoadOne, Jim was director, Business Development and Sales with the Hub Group, and held logistics management positions at several ocean carriers.
Mike has been with RoadOne over 8 years. In his new position, He’ll work to expand existing business and develop new accounts for RoadOne and US IntermodaLogistics, the national agent drayage and brokerage affiliate of RoadOne.
In 2015, RoadOne, backed by a major investment by Tritium Partners in June, continued to expand its dedicated fleet operations in multiple U.S. markets and doubled its growth on the U.S. West coast from Seattle to Los Angeles. In addition, revenue, the company’s driver base and profits grew this year. US IntermodaLogistics increased its agent network to a total of 10 locations throughout the U.S. “We are excited to have Jim, an experienced international and domestic intermodal professional, join our team to support our growth goals and S3 (single source solution) vision. We are equally eager to see Mike transition into a National Sales role where he will help drive our National accounts and also work with our US Intermodal Agents to grow their businesses,” said Ken Kellaway, CEO of RoadOne IntermodaLogistics.
