The Russian multimodal operator Ruscon has opened a new warehouse in Novorossiysk, its hub located at the Black Sea. The new logistics centre is located at the terminal Ruscon 3 and features direct links to the seaport, the railway system and highways. It was built on a greenfield to cater to an increasing demand for indoor storage from clients. The warehouse features 1500 m2 of space and has capacity for the storage of 840 TEU. The parking area can hold up to 15 units at the same time. The new facility can accommodate cargo with a height of up to 11 m. The pay load per square metre is 6 mt max. The logistic centre features six fork lifts and six gates for motor and railway transport make for an efficient cargo turnaround. Four trucks or railway wagons can be handled simultaneously at each gate. The warehouse offers heat insulation, an open internal design without any columns and a dust free concrete floor to ensure that even the most sensitive goods can be handled safely. ‟Ruscon is continuing to expand its range of services in line with our clients’ needs.
