Saddle Creek Corp., a nationwide third-party logistics provider, announced that the company has named Perry Belcastro as vice president, fulfillment services.

In his new role, Belcastro will lead Saddle Creek's fulfillment business unit with a focus on providing turnkey multi-channel fulfillment solutions. He will be based at the company's facility in Lexington, Ky.

'With the recent expansion of our fulfillment capabilities, it is critical to have the right individual in place to oversee the strategic growth and development of our fulfillment operations,' said Tom Patterson, Saddle Creek's senior vice president of warehouse operations. 'Perry's expertise in the fulfillment arena, creative ideas, and commitment to continuous improvement will allow us to ensure service excellence and grow this business segment under his leadership.'

Belcastro has more than 20 years of experience in fulfillment and logistics, most recently as vice president and general manager for the TradeGlobal Division of Netrada N.A., an international e-commerce company. He also has held management positions at Standard Register Corp. and DHL Express. Belcastro earned a B.A. degree in business administration from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio.

Saddle Creek expanded its fulfillment service offering with the company's acquisition of ProLog Logistics in late 2010. The 3PL's fulfillment solutions draw on a wide range of capabilities, including order fulfillment, inventory management and reporting, freight management, and contact center and customer service.
