Phoenix Facility
GREEN BAY, Wis. - The sunny Southwest is about to get even brighter with the June 22 grand opening of a new Schneider facility in Phoenix, Arizona. Schneider – a premier truckload, intermodal and logistics provider known for its bright orange equipment – is responding to industry demand by significantly investing in this growing region. The Phoenix facility will accommodate Schneider’s Van Truckload, Teams, Intermodal and Specialty Dedicated offerings and immediately bring new driving opportunities to the area. The new Phoenix facility means more local transportation resources and operational infrastructure for area shippers in this growing region. Additionally, it means closer proximity to current customers and a more direct route to Western markets. “Opening the new Phoenix facility is like moving from a 300-square-foot apartment to a 2,300-square-foot apartment, and we couldn’t be more excited,” said Nuno Gomes, regional vice president for Schneider. “Not only is it in a great location with proximity to customers and drivers in the area, but it underscores our commitment to the greater Phoenix area. Plus, it enables us to provide more capacity to shippers who move freight in and through the region, especially en route to Los Angeles.” The new facility will also deliver an enhanced experience for the company’s drivers in and near Phoenix, who can now enjoy these benefits close to home:
  • Asphalt parking for more than 180 trailers, plus personal vehicle parking
  • State-of-the-art maintenance facility with eight service bays
  • High security parking
  • Showers, break rooms and a full laundry facility
  • Ice and fresh food vending machines
  • On-site driver business leaders
  • On-site occupational therapy room
  • Access to company cars
