El Faro was introduced into the Caribbean service in March of this year to provide additional capacity during the busy spring months; served as back-up for El Yunque, her sister ship, during her month-long dry dock; and will now generate charter revenue during the Caribbean's slower summer months before returning to the Puerto Rico service in the fall to satisfy the Caribbean's high seasonal demand.
