SHIFT Freight, a California-based LTL carrier, has been dedicated to providing unmatched Premium LTL shipping services since it opened its doors in quarter three of 2013. On the heels of its one-year anniversary last month, the young company has announced exceptional growth while providing industry-leading service levels, solidifying its place as a top player in the freight industry.  Run by a talented team of industry veterans committed to excellence, SHIFT has grown at astounding rates through 2014 and achieved 313 percent overall growth and a footprint that now covers most of the nation. The success is attributed to its “customer-first” attitude, world-class technology and partnerships that have allowed them run a nimble Premium LTL service network across the United States. SHIFT expanded its footprint by 30 percent in quarter two of 2014 and announced last month an additional expansion that nearly tripled the coverage to a total of 80 percent of the U.S. population. With this expansion SHIFT increased its service level metrics, recording on-time percentages of 99 percent, claims of under a half percent and delivering 30 percent of the shipments early in quarter three. “We have gone through a tremendous growth at SHIFT, but have never faltered in our commitment to Premium service levels for our customers,” said Joe Bartone, SHIFT’s newly appointed President. “Other carriers opted for a long time to provide unreliable services at low prices, but we decided that customers deserved better than that. SHIFT has given those customers a better home.” Customers remain with SHIFT not only for the carrier’s services, but for the commitment to supporting philanthropic organizations. The company launched SHIFT the World, a give-back program that encourages customers to dedicate their shipments to their favorite causes, which SHIFT in turn supports financially.
