Neutral non-vessel-operating common carrier Shipco Transport is expanding its service portfolio with the addition of six new less-than-container load direct services.  All six options are unique and first in market LCL services into USA: Mumbai into Chicago, Chittagong into Los Angeles, Ho Chi Minh City into Chicago, Xiamen into Seattle, Xiamen into Oakland and Hamburg/Bremen into Dallas. Shipco’s service from Mumbai into Chicago joins their already extensive service set-up from India. Taking only 27 days port to port, this is an ideal service to substitute the traditional handling of cargo from US East Coast warehouses. Origin agent is fellow WorldWide Alliance Member, Teamglobal Logistics, ensuring neutrality at both ends of the shipping process.   Also together with Teamglobal in Bangladesh, Shipco has launched the first direct, intact service from Chittagong into USA. This replaces the previously standard routing with trans-shipment of the cargo in Singapore. With the port to port transit time of only 32 days, it is the faster option as well.   Out of Germany, complimenting their already extensive service package of 24 weekly services, the service into Dallas represents the latest non-standard de-consolidation point from Northern Europe; Detroit, Cleveland and Minneapolis being some of the other such points.   From Vietnam, the Chicago service is the first to not be de-consolidated on the East or West Coasts. Over the next couple of months Shipco expects to add further services from Ho Chi Minh City and Haiphong as the development of the region continues to expand.   The services from Tokyo/Yokohama and Xiamen into Seattle and Xiamen into Oakland are the next logical steps in Shipco’s development of services into the Pacific Northwest and surrounding areas, adding to already existing service from Hong Kong, Ningbo, Qingdao, Shanghai, Shenzhen, Busan, Singapore, Kaohsiung/Keelung, Bangkok and Hamburg/Bremen.   "As our network and freight forwarding customer base continue to grow, together with our overseas partners and offices we have identified new direct services that will help reduce cost and transit time for our customers” said Jesper Jepsen, Vice President for the NVO's U.S. LCL Imports. Adding, "We take pride in developing both unique and non-traditional direct services, and with these latest additions Shipco will eclipse the 300 weekly services into North America.”
