Southeastern Freight Lines, the leading provider of regional less-than-truckload (LTL) transportation services, today announced that Coley Campbell has been promoted to vice president of service center operations. With more than 15 years of experience at Southeastern, Campbell has served in a variety of roles. These roles include freight handler, management trainee, outbound supervisor, inbound supervisor, office manager, pick-up and delivery supervisor, assistant service center manager and service center manager. Most recently, Campbell served as regional vice president of operations for Southeastern’s Region II territory, covering facilities located in Kentucky, North Carolina, Virginia and eastern Tennessee, where he produced outstanding results with improvements in every key measurement. In addition, Campbell recently led Southeastern’s expansion into Kentucky and has overseen the opening of several new service centers, including the Charlotte Shipping Distribution facility in Charlotte, North Carolina. “With a long history of LTL experience, Coley is uniquely qualified for this role, providing strong leadership skills and quality service, embodying Southeastern’s company culture, and understanding our vision for the future,” said Keith Heaton, senior vice president of operations, Southeastern Freight Lines. “As someone who represents our company culture fluidly by going above and beyond to provide quality without question service, we are confident Coley will help to strengthen our team and contribute to the long-term success of Southeastern.” As Vice President of Service Center Operations, Campbell will be based in South Charlotte, but will spend 90 percent of his time in the field supporting Southeastern’s five territorial regions in culture, quality improvement and leadership development.
