Jones has more than a decade of experience at Southeastern, where he began his career as a driver trainee in Norfolk, Virginia. After meeting and exceeding expectations as a pickup and delivery driver, he was promoted to various leadership positions on the operations side of business, including service center manager in Richmond, Virginia and Atlanta, Georgia. “Jim has an excellent record in leadership development and continually strives to help other employees achieve their career goals,” said Coley Campbell, vice president of service center operations, Southeastern Freight Lines. “Jim exudes positivity and fully embraces the Southeastern Freight Lines culture that is based on trust and mutual respect. We can’t wait to watch him and the region flourish under Jim’s guidance.” Jones will be based in Dallas, Texas, and frequently traveling throughout the region. Jones, his wife and their six-month-old son, are very excited about the new opportunity and look forward to serving the Southeastern Freight Lines team in a new capacity.
