Southeastern Freight Lines, the leading provider of regional less-than-truckload (LTL) transportation services, is celebrating 20 years of quality without question service from its San Antonio, Texas service center this summer. Originally opened for business in August of 1995, the San Antonio service center, located at 7431 Farm to Market Road 3006, features 75 dock doors and employs 93 associates. Three employees, Raul Del Toro, Ruben Garza and Charlie Kite, are original associates that have been with the San Antonio service center since its opening in 1995 and are celebrating 20 years with the company. “When Southeastern’s San Antonio service center opened 20 years ago, a different culture of trucking was instilled in south Texas through our professional drivers, state of the art equipment and quality without question service model,” said Brian Schulz, regional vice president of operations, Southeastern Freight Lines. “Since opening, Southeastern has expanded numerous times in the San Antonio market, growing from 13 original employees, expanding from 37 to 75 doors and building loyal relationships with our customers over 20 years of operation.” The San Antonio service center was the 45th service center opened by Southeastern Freight Lines since its founding in 1950. Since then, the company has opened more than 85 new centers spanning 14 states and Puerto Rico, and has undergone numerous upgrades in trucks and trucking technologies.
