Subcommittee to examine the status of Coast Guard Infrastructure this week

Washington, D.C. - Tuesday the Subcommittee on Coast Guard and Maritime Transportation will hold the second of two hearings examining the status of Coast Guard infrastructure and the ability of the infrastructure to meet the Service’s mission needs in the 21st century. At the hearing, the Subcommittee will receive an update on the Coast Guard’s progress toward developing and implementing an unfunded priority list (UPL), five-year Capital Investment Plan (CIP), and 20-year Major Acquisition Plan.
The Subcommittee on Coast Guard and Maritime Transportation, chaired by U.S. Rep. Duncan Hunter (R-CA), will hold a hearing entitled, “Building a 21st Century Infrastructure for America: Coast Guard Sea, Land and Air Capabilities, Part II,” on Tuesday, July 25, 2017, at 10:00 a.m., in 2167 Rayburn House Office Building.
