A twenty-one year veteran in the air cargo industry, James (Jim) Gould, has been appointed Northeast Regional Manager at Target Logistic Services.

Gould will operate from Target's JFK facilities which has been expanded due to the recent acqusition of Discovery Air Cargo, Inc., whose headquarters were located at JFK International Airport.

"We believe Jim will make a major contribution to Target's Northeast sales and marketing activities with our growing opportunities in this important market," commented Chris Coppersmith, President & CEO of Target Logistic Services, in making the announcement.

The new Northeast Regional Manager joins Target after a varied and extensive background in domestic and international cargo operations. Gould began his career with UPS and his most recent position was Eastern Area Vice President of Operations at Stonepath Logistics.

In a related development, Target veteran Bill Englebert will become District Manager at the logistics provider's JFK facilities.

"Bill requested some time ago to concentrate on sales and operational developments as well as challenges at JFK, one of the most competitive markets in air freight. We are happy to grant his request and wish him the very best," stated Coppersmith. "Bill brings to his new position decades of leadership and an intimate knowledge of the Target worldwide system."
