LOS ANGELES – The Walsh Group welcomes Darrell Waters to its professional staff as Vice President of Southern California Transportation. Darrell will be responsible for pursuing new business, project execution, and expanding the company’s transportation brand across the Southern California market.

“We are excited to have a person of Darrell’s breadth of experience and operational talents join the Walsh Group,” said President David Casey. “Darrell will further enhance our leadership in the region and will be a key component to Walsh acquiring and successfully delivering some of the most complex projects to take shape in Southern California.” Darrell brings over 40 years of domestic and international construction experience to Walsh. He has completed numerous complex projects in the power, transportation and heavy civil sectors including design-build and public-private partnerships. As a Senior Vice President with Flour Enterprises, Inc., Darrel led the construction of the Southern Nuclear Operating Company’s new Vogtle Electric Generating Plants in Waynesboro, GA, the $3.9 billion replacement of the Tappan Zee Bridge in New York and the $700 million design and construction of the Mid-City Exposition Light Rail Project in Los Angeles. Darrell, an active member in the National Academy of Construction, attended Stanford University where he studied civil engineering, and obtained a bachelor and master’s degree.
