Sewickley, PA – Timothy A. (Tim) Chutz, Co-Founder and former CEO & President of Arrow Material Services, a leading provider of material handling and logistics services, has announced his retirement from daily activities with the company. Mr Chutz, who has served Arrow in a number of capacities for more than 30 years, will remain active in the company’s governance as Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors. In working with the Board on strategic planning activities, Mr Chutz plans to continue promoting and strengthening the commitment to the company’s core values of safety, quality, honesty and efficiency. He also intends to spend time helping identify potential acquisition candidates and serve as a company ambassador by remaining  in contact with a select group of clients with whom he has developed close personal relationships. “On behalf of the Arrow team, I congratulate Tim on his many years of valuable service to the company,” says Ed Cumberledge, CEO of Arrow Material Services. “His consummate professionalism, commitment to continuous improvement and ability to communicate effectively with people inside and outside of the company have helped Arrow become an industry leader. He also assisted in the formation of a strategic alliance with Genesis Venture Logistics, a Covington, LA-based provider of customized 3PL/4PL multimodal transportation management solutions for domestic and international customers.
