Trade Tech, a global supplier of Cloud-based solutions for the logistics industry, has announced that it has hired Bill Fehr as director of sales, North America and Patrick Clancy as programming manager, effective immediately.

Fehr joins Trade Tech with more than 15 years of experience moving client/server and legacy software to Cloud-based web delivered applications. He has a strong background in SaaS value consulting and system integration leadership and is responsible for helping Trade Tech's customers understand and implement the latest Cloud-based computing applications linking sales, operations, and accounting into a single environment.

Fehr has worked with a wide variety of companies, including Cisco Systems, Manpower, Cartus, Firestream, Agistix Shipping, KPMG, Ariba, Hirodex, and Logitech. He was co-founder of Tristream, a leader in SaaS, and business-to-business applications, where he managed brand development, online business creation consulting, and development strategy. He also worked as account executive at Federal Signal Corporation.

Clancy brings more than 17 years of cutting-edge digital media experience developing web applications and interactive media for first-tier companies. He is responsible for transforming Trade Tech's applications into new interfaces and working closely with the development team to complete the integration process.

Clancy is focused on establishing a clear user workflow and information design for large-scale web applications and is responsible for directing the enhancement of Trade Tech's user experience. He works closely with teams of back-end developers to establish highly functional rich media front-end interfaces, including xHTML, CSS, JavaScript, DHTML, AJAX, JSON and front-end optimization.

His prior experience includes developing interactive web applications for a wide variety of companies including, Credit Suisse, Cisco, Cendant Mobility, Cartus, Sun, AvantGo, Hooked on Phonics, Logitech, QuantumShift, Airstream, Pac Bell, Birkenstock, Agistix, Magellan Health, Compaq, and SCO as well as many other industry leaders.
