CargoWise', a global leader in technology solutions for logistics service providers (LSPs), announces that Namibian logistics provider Transworld Cargo has successfully completed the first stage of implementation of the ediEnterprise software platform through CargoWise's South African partner, Compu-Clearing Outsourcing Limited.

The project will replace a series of separate operational and financial software systems with CargoWise's ediEnterprise single platform 'only enter data once' technology. As a result, Transworld Cargo will eliminate the need to manually rekey data in between software systems, streamlining its operations and increasing productivity.

'We expect to have all the information regarding clients and shipments readily available and only a mouse click away in order to better service our clients and business partners,' says Transworld Cargo Managing Director Heino Herrlich. 'ediEnterprise was the only locally supported system that met the required criteria.'
