The Virginia’s arrival brings to fruition nearly four years of work that began with a groundbreaking ceremony on August 3, 2005.

Financial figures estimate that TraPac’s new JAXPORT terminal is expected to generate nearly a billion dollars annually in local economic benefits – almost three times the proceeds generated by the Super Bowl – from private sector wages, taxes and revenue earned by neighboring businesses.
With its outstanding rail and highway access, as well as a cutting-edge container handling system capable of 800,000 TEUs annually, TraPac Jacksonville is destined to become a first-string player in one of the fastest growing markets in the US.
