Troy Container Line (TCL) is celebrating its 25th Anniversary in 2009, a major milestone for the fastest growing NVOCC providing import, LCL and Full Container services to more than 500 ports around the world.

TCL was founded in 1984 by Michael Troy as Troy Catucci Line, in partnership with the Catucci family, well known warehouse and stevedore operators, respected for quality and financial integrity. From the onset, Mr. Troy realized that as an NVOCC, the company could provide a level of services to individual shippers that the steamship lines cannot offer because of their size. The line's first traffic was primarily LCL shipments to Asia, an area with which Mr. Troy was closely familiar. The company gradually expanded, adding LCL service to Europe a few years later, and moved its first full containers in 1989.' Mr. Troy bought out his partners in 1997 and continued to expand adding service to every continent as offering Imports as one of its capabilities. Today TCL serves more than 500 ports worldwide, and the number is constantly growing.

TCL hires only'the best people and makes sure they have the most effective tools possible, making a large annual investment in the latest computer hardware, updated software and other operating facilities.' The company opened a second office in Charlotte, North Carolina in October 2008 with a goal of expanding capabilities, streamlining operations and enhancing customer service.

'We'd like to express our warmest thanks to our valued clients who have supported FCL, LCL and specialized shipment in both export and import markets,' said Michael Troy.' 'We are also grateful for the diligent efforts of our valued employees who have been so instrumental in the company's success.'
