Bowman will report directly to Bill Farris, the senior vice president and general manager of dedicated services.
In this role, Bowman will lead new business development, client expansion, marketing, pricing and logistics design within the dedicated services business unit.
Bowman comes to U.S. Xpress with years of sales experience in the transportation and logistics sectors and deep expertise in supply chain management, operations, contract negotiation and logistics. Most recently, he served as the regional vice president of sales at Hogan Dedicated Services, where he oversaw new business development and key national accounts. Prior to that, he spent more than a decade at Ryder System, Inc., where he led all logistics, transportation and DCC sales in the Midwest.
