With over 40 years’ experience as a Niche carrier in the Oil and Energy sector to West Africa, the UAL Alliance announces further expansion with a new service starting to Latin America and the Caribbean. With expectations of new growth and emerging markets in this region, Universal Americas Lines will offer direct monthly sailings to and from Houston to Mexico, Trinidad, Guyana, Suriname, Colombia and Brazil, and other LAM or Caribbean countries offered on inducement. “We see a need to help meet the rising customer demand for an alternative carrier experienced in handling Breakbulk and Project cargoes into this area,” stated Mr. Roger Jungblut, Chairman of the UAL group. “Our current customers are reacting positively to the news and we are very excited about establishing our new client base in this area.” The first sailing will be the UAL Lobito departing Mid July offering both container and breakbulk service,
