OMAHA, Neb. - It’s something rarely seen in the international shipping industry – a new startup. Union Pacific and SM Line Corporation, an international ocean carrier based in South Korea, teamed up to move products from global shippers specializing in electronics and appliances across the railroad’s network.  “International intermodal is typically a mature business; we’re used to seeing long-term stakeholders, such as K Line and Evergreen,” said Union Pacific’s Assistant Vice President of International Intermodal Mark Simon. “You just don’t see a startup happen this quickly.”
