Vessels resumed moving through the Houston Ship Channel at 6:50 a.m. CST (1250 GMT) on Monday as dense sea fog dissipated along the 53-mile (85-km) waterway to the busiest U.S. petrochemical port, the U.S. Coast Guard said.
Ship pilots had called a halt to steering vessels to and from the port of Houston at 1 a.m. CST on Monday after dense fog reduced visibility to unsafe levels, the Coast Guard said.
