UPS, Asiana and Lufthansa Top Winners of 2017 Air Cargo Excellence Awards

22 Airlines and Airports Recognized as Industry Leaders NEW YORK -- Air Cargo World has announced the winners of 22 Air Cargo Excellence (ACE) Awards this morning live via Twitter. The awards are based on the Air Cargo Excellence Survey, which was established in 2005 by Air Cargo World. Awards are presented annually to the airlines and airports achieving the highest scores in the survey based on several performance factors. Among the winners were: UPS Airlines, Cathay Pacific Airways, China Airlines, Asiana Airlines, Southwest Airlines, Air Canada, Lufthansa, Incheon International Airport, Liège Airport and San Juan-Luis Muñoz Marín International Airport. Among air carriers, Diamond, Platinum, and Gold status are awarded to the top three performers – based on a composite score of Customer Service, Performance and Value – in each of two tonnage categories.
