Volga-Dnepr Technics GmbH (VDT), the Leipzig-based maintenance company responsible for the outreach of Volga-Dnepr Group’s maintenance operations in Europe, has expanded its current scope of activities on Western-built aircraft. The renewed scope of its EASA Part 145 certificate now enables VDT to extend A-check services on Boeing 737-300/-400/-500 and 747-8F and 747-400 (PW-4000) aircraft. The company’s Rating C14 has also been expanded to cover wheel and brake repair shop activities on a variety of Boeing 747 aircraft models. “We continuously strive to improve the quality and range of our services. The successful audits by European authorities have confirmed our efforts. Credit for this goes to the hard work and dedication of all employees, and, in 2014, we aim to reach a new height – C-check capability on Western aircraft,” said VDT’s Managing Director, Ildar Ilyasov. Volga-Dnepr Technics GmbH is a maintenance and repair organization specializing in Western-built aircraft. The company is based at Leipzig/Halle (LEJ) airport, where it operates an 8,500 sq. m hangar and supporting facilities.
